University of Leicester

The Fulbright University of Leicester Award covers the first year of any master's degree programme offered by the university.

The University of Leicester was founded over a hundred years ago in the aftermath of the First World War. The men and women who built this new institution hoped that sacrifices made in war should be commemorated through education and research that would change the world for the better.

As a true student city, Leicester is lively, culturally diverse and easy to enjoy on a budget. The city is packed with a vibrant range of attractions to explore and events to enjoy, including the UK’s longest-running comedy festival.

In the very centre of England, Leicester is a great place from which to explore. London is just 65 minutes away – and with one change of train you can be in Paris by lunchtime!

The University’s compact, friendly campus is next to one of the city’s largest parks. Accommodation includes both brand new student blocks adjacent to campus and purpose built accommodation in a leafy suburb a short bus ride away.
