Zoey Hart

Fulbright/University of Southampton Award

Zoey Hart graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida with a BS in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Astronomy and Astrophysics. While at Riddle, Hart was involved with an engineering initiative to build and install solar-powered water purifiers in the Dominican Republic, which provided her with invaluable engineering and teamwork experience as well as an amazing cultural opportunity. During her studies at the University of Southampton, where she is pursuing a MSc in Space Systems Engineering, Hart plans to continue her pursuit of astrodynamics research and topics. Her undergrad research experience into modelling trajectories and determining complexity of cislunar missions has motivated her to focus her studies and research on astrodynamics. This Fulbright will provide Hart with the opportunity to fulfil her dream of living and studying abroad while immersing herself in a new culture and environment. She looks forward to meeting and working with new people from a diverse set of backgrounds. Hart was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, USA, and enjoys reading, writing, and practicing martial arts during her free time.
