
Victoria Bradbury
Glasgow School of Art Distinguished Scholar Award
Dr. Victoria Bradbury specializes in interactive and immersive media storytelling. Associate Professor and Chair of New Media at UNC Asheville, she received an Epic MegaGrant in 2020 and an NEH Connections grant in 2022 to increase digital humanities capacity at UNC Asheville. With Dr. Suzy O’Hara, she co-edited Art Hack Practice: Critical Intersections of Art, Innovation and the Maker Movement, which examines case studies of co-creation events.
She co-taught The Glass Electric: Glassblowing, Electroforming, Interactive Electronics at Pilchuck Glass School in 2019. Her artworks have been shown in exhibitions worldwide including at IEEE-GEM, xCoAx, the {Re}Happening, Harvestworks, The Albright Knox, Future Bodies, and The New Britain Museum of American Art. Victoria holds a PhD with CRUMB at the University of Sunderland and an MFA from Alfred University.
