Shereen Rajasooriar

Finance Officer

Shereen joined Fulbright in December 2024 where she works as a Finance Officer, responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting activities that support the Commission’s operations.

Her entire career has been in finance, with much of it spent working in government departments focused on foreign aid and international development. She is a qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and also holds a CIPD Foundation Certificate in Personnel Practice.

Originally from Sri Lanka, she moved to the UK as a teenager, where she met her husband and has since made a home here. In her spare time, she enjoys floristry and long walks, and is particularly proud of having climbed Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Great Britain.
