Remy Ling
Fulbright All-Disciplines Postgraduate Award - Tulane University
Remy holds a first-class LLB in Law with Business from the University of Exeter and recently completed the Bar Practice Course. During her Fulbright studies, Remy will pursue an LLM in Maritime and Admiralty Law at Tulane University. Her interest in this field developed while undertaking legal work experience, where she observed how geopolitics affect international business transactions and pose complex legal challenges. Remy has a particular interest in alternative dispute resolution and has undertaken further training in this area to become an IMI qualified mediator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Through her LLM studies, Remy hopes to deepen her understanding of the role of international arbitration in resolving maritime disputes, and the broader relationship between international commerce and the law. Upon completion of her Fulbright studies, Remy will return to the UK to continue her training as a barrister through a specialist commercial and chancery pupillage.
