Nebiat Michael

Nebiat is a history and politics educator at a large secondary school in London. As Head of History, she's created an environment for all to foster a love of enquiry and critical thinking. As Head of House, she is committed to building an inclusive school community beyond the classroom. A proud advocate for cultural preservation, Nebiat serves as a community teacher of Tigrinya. She holds a bachelor’s in Journalism, a master's in World History, and a PGCE in History Teaching. Her interests span from the intellectual joys of reading and creative writing to the physical pursuits of swimming and travelling.
While in the USA, Nebiat will explore how Native Americans’ approaches to the environment have informed a 21st century approach to ecology.
