Megan Lynch

Distinguished Award in Teaching, Indiana University of Pennsylvania

Megan is a reception class teacher for 27 four-year-olds and Early Years Leader (EYL) at her central-London school. As EYL, she is a member of the senior leadership team and manages a team of 15 other Early Years staff. She is passionate about play and nature. Her recent focuses have been the integration of play based learning for EY, planning and building a nature garden, and the impact of Oracy and Wellbeing strategies on children's behaviour.

While on programme in the USA, Megan will explore play-based methodologies, such as Reggio Emilla and Montessori approaches, to create child-centred, play-based guidance for teachers and parents.
