Madysen Eutsler

Madysen Eutsler is from Salisbury, Maryland. She holds a M.Phil in Modern Irish History from Trinity College Dublin and a MS in Information Management and Preservation from University of Glasgow. For the past three years, Madysen has worked for her alma mater, Salisbury University, as a lecturer in the History department. Her professional research interests include media coverage of Irish republican assassinations during the Troubles conflict and archival stability of institutional abuse cases, particularly in Ireland during the 20th century. Her personal interests include reading, watching films, and spending time with her son, Rhys. 
At the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, Madysen will be pursuing her PhD in History. She will be researching history and memory of the Troubles conflict within Scotland, with particular attention given to Glasgow. She looks forward to working with her advisor, Dr Fearghus Roulston and the Scottish Oral History Centre at Strathclyde. Upon finishing her PhD, she hopes to build foundations for a future study abroad programme between Strathclyde and her future home institution in the United States.
