Levana Wang

Fulbright/John Wood LAMDA Award in Classical Acting

Levana Wang, originally from New York City, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Acting and minors in Performing Arts Management, Entrepreneurship, and Creative Writing. She recently recurred on Apple TV's City on Fire, and now returns to her theatrical roots — the first artistic love that drew her to acting. As the recipient of the John Wood LAMDA Fulbright Award, she will pursue an MA in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), the same programme that trained Benedict Cumberbatch. While in the UK, she looks forward to immersing herself in Shakespeare's text, tracing theatre back to its roots, and sharpening her craft through rigorous classical training. She hopes to carry what she learns back to the United States, applying her classical foundation across stage, screen, and beyond — strengthening her artistry for Broadway, Hollywood, and everywhere in between.
