Emma Mallon

Programme Manager, US Scholars Programme

Hailing from Vermont, Emma manages the US Scholar, Distinguished Teacher and Specialist programmes. She’s lived, worked and studied on both sides of the pond and is excited to put this experience to good use supporting grantees through the various aspects of their awards.

Emma got her start volunteering with rural communities in North America and Europe through UNESCO. She went on to support exchange programmes in the US and the UK, working to expand access to intercultural learning and leadership opportunities. Most recently, she managed capacity-building projects for a communications training company.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys exploring the great outdoors, creating art and spending time with her cat, Bagel.
