Dr Faye Taylor

Deputy Director for International Strategy & Partnerships, Department for Education

Faye Taylor is Deputy Director for International Strategy & Partnerships at the Department for Education, responsible for the UK’s diplomatic education relationships, including the Fulbright Scholarships grant.

Faye knows first-hand how transformational scholarships can be, holding an MA and PhD in History from the University if Nottingham and a Masters in Public Policy from the London School of Economics thanks to generous sponsorship.

Before joining the UK Government, Faye worked in higher education advocacy, scholarships and international relations for the Association of Commonwealth Universities, and in research policy and collaborative doctoral training at University Alliance. As an early career academic she taught medieval history at King’s College London and held the King George VI Postdoctoral Fellowship at Cumberland Lodge.

Faye and her family are based in London but enjoying showing their toddler the world.
