Connor Moore

Fulbright All Disciplines Postgraduate Award - Johns Hopkins University

Connor Moore is a physician and health technology professional from Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. A graduate of Keele University, he first entered medicine as an Academic Foundation Doctor in Bristol, conducting research on digital systems in surgery, winning several academic prizes. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Clinical Anatomy from the University of Leeds.

Driven to improve healthcare at scale, he transitioned from clinical practice to become an early employee at Concentric Health, a health-tech startup. At Concentric, he helped develop the leading digital consent-to-treatment application in the UK which now supports over one million patients per year.

During his time at Johns Hopkins, Connor aims to enhance his expertise in public health by developing his technical skills in epidemiology, biostatistics, and health policy, whilst also learning American approaches to health innovation and care system innovation. This will equip him with the tools to develop targeted data-driven solutions. Through the Sommer programme, he looks forward to participating in, and joining, a global network of public health leaders.

Outside academia, Connor enjoys cycling and has completed cycle tours from Vancouver to San Francisco. He plans to explore more of the United States by bicycle and join the Hopkins cycling team. Additionally, he is keen to build lasting connections with his fellow students and experience all that Baltimore has to offer.
