Alison Mugunthan

Director of Finance

Alison joined the Commission in 2024 as our Director of Finance providing guidance, financial control and financial services to the Commission.  She is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant with a BSc Honours degree in Biochemistry from Glasgow University.

Alison started her career in practice and spent some time in the public sector at British Rail and in insurance in the city.  She has over twenty-five years’ experience in charity and not for profit organisations in a variety of sectors including education, health, climate change and religion.

Alison enjoys working for an organisation where she can make a difference.  She likes to get behind the figures and provide timely information to assist decision making and strategy.

When not working Alison enjoys travelling, reading, cooking and keeping fit.
