British Friends of Harvard Business School Award, Harvard Business School - Renewable Energy

I will spend my two years at Harvard Business School working to overcome barriers to a transition towards a cleaner energy system. I spent my last two years at Orsted - a Danish renewable energy major - working to show how Offshore Wind Farms (one of the fastest growing renewable generators) can provide a variety of services that guarantee an energy system that is stable, flexible and secure. Before this I spent ~3.5 years at McKinsey & Company working in the sustainability practice across Trinidad and Tobago, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and the UK.

I grew up on my family's (sustainable) coffee plantation in south India, and did my undergraduate degree in Economics and Geography at the University of Cambridge. Outside work I am a keen squash player, and (very) amateur wildlife photographer. I am looking forward to exploring America's National Parks and cities.
