One of the nation’s elite research universities, Florida State University is located on the oldest continuous site of higher education in Tallahassee, Florida. Through FSU’s innovative First Year Abroad (FYA) program, students who have been accepted to FSU can spend their first year studying at one of FSU's international study centres in London, UK; Florence, Italy; Valencia, Spain; or Panama City, Panama. Upon successful completion of the FYA year, students are eligible for a tuition waiver, reducing tuition fees by 70% for the remainder of their first undergraduate degree at FSU.
