British Library

The Fulbright British Library Eccles Centre Award covers a three-month research project for an appropriate discipline at the institution.

The Eccles Centre for American Studies works to increase awareness and use of the British Library's extensive collections of books, manuscripts, journals, newspapers, maps, sound recordings and other materials related to the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean and Latin America.

The Eccles Centre supports creative research and lifelong learning about the Americas by helping writers, artists, thinkers educators, activists and makers to expertly navigate the collections of the British Library. We inspire exploration of the Canadian, United States, Caribbean, Central and South American collections, and provide platforms for new knowledge, debate and ideas about the Americas for anyone interested in the region.
