Indiana University Maurer School of Law

The Fulbright Postgraduate Student Award at Indiana University Maurer School of Law provides a full tuition fee waiver for UK graduates to pursue the Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the law school.

Indiana University Maurer School of Law has been granting graduate degrees to international lawyers for more than 100 years. In addition to being consistently ranked among the top U.S. law schools by U.S. News & World Report, Indiana law is listed as one of the top 10 LL.M. programs in Cybersecurity Law in the world by LLM Guide.

This internationally respected LL.M. program offers highly qualified students the opportunity to pursue advanced legal studies in a rigorous, but supportive, environment. LL.M. students have the option to choose from six specialisations in business and commercial law, financial regulation, information privacy and cybersecurity, intellectual property, international law, or American law.

Each year, Indiana Law enrols 30-40 new graduate students. Each class typically consists of students from 18-20 countries. J.D. and graduate students take most of their classes together, which enhances learning in and outside of the classroom. For students interested in gaining U.S. legal experience or taking a U.S. bar exam, Indiana Law offers a wealth of programming and opportunities, such as the Learning & Working (LAW) program that offers clinics, moot court, internships, and pro bono work. All students are encouraged to participate in student organizations and become involved in extracurricular activities. Once you’ve finished your degree, you’ll be a member of the Indiana Law LL.M. alumni network, which includes practitioners, judges, academics, and public servants in more than 50 countries.

The Maurer School of Law is located in Bloomington, Indiana, which is regularly ranked as one of the most beautiful college campuses in the U.S. Bloomington offers the charm, safety, and low cost of living of a small town with the international sophistication of a large city. Indianapolis, the state capital, is just 45 minutes north of campus. See it for yourself:
