Rob Ellis

Digital Community Manager

Rob manages Fulbrighter, the online networking platform for the global Fulbright community. He joined the Commission in January 2019 to oversee the successful rollout of the platform across the world.

Rob holds a PhD in fourteenth-century London literature, which has proven more useful than you might initially think. Following a brief flirtation with academia, he moved into a career as a marketing and communications professional. He has worked in a range of communications roles at Queen Mary University of London, Manchester Metropolitan University and HESA – the Higher Education Statistics Agency.

He is a fan of any and all fiction, and is always looking for new recommendations. He also enjoys exploring the Peak District, Scandinavian art and classic cinema.
