Reading Panels

The US-UK Fulbright Commission receives hundreds of Award applications each year for study, research and lecturing in the US and the UK.

Each application requires review by three individuals, and alumni readers are pivotal to the smooth running of the US-UK Awards programme.

Readers are required to review, evaluate and return no more than 15 applications in three weeks.

To be considered as a reader for either category, please contact us with details of what subject area(s) you would feel comfortable reading. You will then be contacted in advance of the next review period applicable to your expertise.

Postgraduate Student and Scholar Awards for UK citizens

The reading of US applications is facilitated by the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FFSB), the Institute of International Education (IIE) and the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES).

Applications from prospective UK grantees are read in the first instance by the US-UK Fulbright Commission.
