The Colleges of Contra are accredited, public community colleges that enroll approximately 1,300 international students from nearly 80 countries.

Each College offers a safe learning environment with an on-campus police station and a wide-range of services for non-immigrant, international students such as international admissions, immigration advising, academic counseling and free academic tutoring. Also, international students can join numerous student organizations and choose from a variety of accommodation options, including homestay families and private or shared apartments located within walking distance of each campus.

With a focus on student success and helping students reach their educational goals and more than 125 different degree programs to choose from, the Colleges of Contra Costa offer excellent value and diverse curricular, extra-curricular and transfer options. With regard to transfer, each year more than 1,000 U.S. and international students complete their programs at our colleges and enroll at UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara and UC Irvine.

Contra Costa College (CCC) is located just 35 km from San Francisco in San Pablo, California. Founded in 1949 and with a full-time student enrollment under 2,000 students, CCC offers 120 degree and certificate programs, including AA-T and AA-S transfer degrees that guarantee admission to a California State University (CSU). The college also offers Transfer Admissions Guarantees (TAGs) to universities in the University of California (UC) system.

Diablo Valley College (DVC) is located just 50 km from San Francisco in Pleasant Hill, California. Founded in 1949, and with a full-time student enrollment over 7,000 students, DVC offers more than 60 degree and certificate programs, including AA-T and AA-S transfer degrees that guarantee admission to a California State University (CSU). The college also offers Transfer Admissions Guarantees (TAGs) to universities in the University of California (UC) system.

Los Medanos College (LMC) is located just 75 km from San Francisco in Pittsburg, California. Founded in 1974, and with a full-time student enrollment of approximately 3,000 students, LMC offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs, including AA-T and AA-S transfer degrees that guarantee admission to a California State University (CSU).
