We welcome Gianna Succi from Loyola University Chicago and Alice Schaaf from Transylvania University to present this webinar on writing the US application essay.
- A New York State native, Alice has also lived in Japan, the UK, and Georgia (USA). With a Master’s degree in secondary education and a Master of Fine Arts in writing, her education career started as a high school English teacher. She moved to university counseling, helping students apply to universities in the US and around the world. Most recently, she served as head of college counseling at Atlanta International School. As Assistant Director of International Recruitment at Transylvania University (her alma mater), she reviews international applications for admission and scholarship.
- Gianna is an Assistant Director of Admission for Loyola University Chicago. Gianna is based at Loyola University Chicago’s Rome, Italy campus. From there, she manages the admissions and recruitment for the universities European student’s as well as their Rome Start entry year program. Gianna has worked in the field of international education for over 10 years and has worked in international admissions and recruitment for over 6 years. She has extensive experience with admissions and recruitment in Asia, Latin America and Europe. When she travels to visit students, her favorite part is presenting to students, parents and teachers on the admissions process of applying to U.S. universities.
